Following our work on end of life issues, Demos has been advising the Care Quality Commission on its ongoing review of inequalities in the care people receive at the end of their lives. The review will look in detail at the experience of particular groups who are at risk of a poor experience of care – including LGBT and BME groups, and homeless people – and aims to provide guidance to health and care services across England about the quality (and equality) of care that they should all provide.
