The Good Web Project is a project to empower the UK and international governments to ensure the future of the internet is compatible with liberal democracy. It seeks to measure and build public support for an internet that resists the authoritarian alternative, and empower policymakers to fight for this cause.
We aim to define, measure and advocate for a vision for democracy in a digital age, and empower democratic representatives to take control of the digital roadmap. The project is hosted by GCHQ and works with a wide network of government, civil society and academic expertise to define, measure and advocate for an internet that strengthens liberal democracy.
We have produced an interactive city to start to explore the road to a better web. Check it out here.
