Leah Selig Chauhan

Intern, CASM

Leah is an intern working with the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media. She is particularly interested in CASM’s specialised natural language processing software, and the ways in which it can be utilised to analyse attitudes and trends on social media.
Leah recently completed a part-time MSc in European Studies: Ideas, Identities and Ideologies at the LSE, where her dissertation focused on the UK’s ‘Prevent’ strategy and education and previously received a BA (Hons) in Sociology from Leeds Metropolitan University.
Prior to Demos Leah worked on a number of research projects, including analysing different European press coverage of the migration crisis and curating an exhibition for the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and Nationalism (ASEN).
