Ioannes is Engagement Manager at Demos, where he leads relationships with government ministers, parliamentarians, policymakers, and civil society. He shapes high-profile events and networks that bring together senior political figures, experts, and industry leaders to address the challenges facing UK democracy. His work focuses on fostering constructive dialogue across party lines and ensuring that Demos’ research and ideas influence public debate at the highest levels.

Before joining Demos, Ioannes worked at Civic Future, an educational charity training the next generation of public leaders. He has held senior roles in the House of Lords, served as Chief of Staff to the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and worked in public affairs and policy in the UK and Europe, including as Political Adviser to the Greek Prime Minister’s party.

He holds a PhD in the history of political thought from the University of Aberdeen.
