Prior to Demos, he worked in policy development at Cancer Research UK with a focus on NHS policy and organisation across the four UK nations. Before that, he worked at Reform, a think tank focused on public services, where he contributed to projects on criminal justice, parliamentary reform and healthcare. He began his career working on skills and methods policy at the Economic and Social Research Council.
