Fixing the Foundations: How to finally deliver homelessness prevention

As the political parties gear up for the next election, public service reform is back on the agenda. This includes a renewed focus on prevention; Labour has recently called for problems to be tackled “with a long-term, preventative approach”. In The Preventative State, Demos has recently called for a new approach focused on tackling the foundational challenges we face as a society.

These issues are of high relevance to homelessness; a problem which continues to blight modern Britain, in no small part because of a failure to get upstream in our approach to it. Join Demos and the Centre for Homelessness Impact to launch a new report in response to this challenge, setting out a preventative vision for tackling homelessness.
