Maiyoraa Jeyabraba

Research Trainee

Maya is a Research Trainee at Demos, working on a diverse range of topics, including social care, welfare reform, and local economic growth.

Prior to joining Demos, she worked in the third sector on the Rohingya Crisis conducting research on malnutrition in refugee children. In addition, she also wrote extensively for 47 Roots and continues to host her own podcast, Cracking Coconuts, in which she discusses contemporary South Asian issues.

Maya holds an MSc in International Relations from the University of Essex and a BA in Politics and Economics from the University of Nottingham.
