Shuab Gamote is a researcher and writer whose work explores how young people understand politics, identity and belonging in a rapidly changing world.

He is a former Political Leadership Scholar at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford and previously worked in higher education, where he published in international journals and won awards for his research on student belonging. During this time, he spoke at conferences and events around the world on education, inclusion and youth participation.

Shuab has also written opinion pieces for national newspapers, examining the intersection of generational change, social identity and political culture in modern Britain. He is also a board member at One Million Mentors, a national charity connecting young people with mentors to help them realise their potential.
