Heather is the Director of Operations at Demos, and is on maternity leave until late 2022.

Heather has worked in research, policy and senior leadership roles including for the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the LGBT Foundation. She is interested in living standards, participation and equality. She has a degree in English Literature from the University of Warwick, and a post graduate certificate in voluntary sector management.

Heather is a trustee for the charity Partners of Prisoners. She lives in Manchester.
