As the Prime Minister seeks to make British business more competitive on a global stage, this session will explore how corporate social responsibility and commitments to social and environmental sustainability will evolve after Brexit, and what it will mean for the changing relationship between government, businesses and citizens.
The event is the second in a series hosted by Demos and Friends Provident Foundation, exploring the opportunities and risks Brexit presents to a fairer, sustainable economy.
The session will bring together around 30 national and local policy-makers, experts and thought leaders to think constructively issues facing post-Brexit Britain.
The discussion will be held under the Chatham House rule, but will help inform a final report drawing on the insights gained from each session on issues regarding the UK’s economic resilience in the wake of our exit from the EU.
