Quantity and quality – How can we make sure new homes improve quality of life, and build strong communities?
Labour Party Conference Fringe Event
The place where you live plays a vital part in your personal well-being, a place you should enjoy living in, be proud of and feel safe and protected. Today, we are experiencing a housing crisis at a scale not experienced before; should local councils and house builders focus on providing as much stock as possible or does this mean we run the risk of large numbers of poor quality homes? How can we ensure that not only are enough homes are built but that they are of the right type and quality to meet the needs of everyone?
