Pupil Power: putting disengaged students back in the driving seat

Join Demos for the launch of a new report presenting the findings of a two-year pilot addressing educational disengagement in secondary schools.

Student disengagement can lead to poor behaviour in schools, academic underperformance, and talented individuals not reaching their potential. Since September 2012, Demos has been working with four secondary schools across the country to trial ‘coproduction’ with students at risk of being disengaged.

This event will provide an opportunity to review the findings of the pilot, hear from some of those involved, and consider how to best to tackle pupil disengagement in the future.
