Power to the People: What does the Public want from Devolution?

Demos is delighted to be joined by The Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson and Jim McMahon MP at a private roundtable to discuss regional devolution and City Mayors. The event will reflect upon the findings of a one day Devolution ‘Citizens’ Jury’, hosted by PwC and facilitated by Britain Thinks on Monday 26th September.  The Jury will involve in depth deliberation with people from across the city region, exploring their perspectives on devolved power in their community and their priorities for the new metro mayor. The event will open with a presentation from Britain Thinks on the findings of the Jury to stimulate a broader discussion on how we can ensure that devolution meets the needs of local people.

Please note that this event is by invitation only. Please email [email protected] to request a place.
