Financial Inclusion Roundtable Series

With around two million Britons not holding a bank account, and only 40 per cent of the population actively saving, Demos is partnering with Lloyds Bank to deliver a project on improving and promoting financial inclusion. Over the course of the year, we are bringing together expert stakeholders and practitioners in roundtable meetings under Chatham House rule, to explore how financial services can be more open, accessible and equitable.

Participants will discuss and debate the role that technology, the third sector and civil society, credit unions, and the education system can play in tackling financial exclusion. Demos will bring these insights together in a final report in late-2016.
