Brave new choice: Will the new pension freedoms deliver for consumers?

Following changes to the pensions system including the scrapping of compulsory annuities, Dame Anne Begg MP, Chair of work and pensions select committee will join Demos to discuss how guidance can be delivered in a new pensions landscape.

Post-Budget and the Chancellor’s announcement that the Government is scrapping compulsory annuities, the panel will discuss the challenge of delivering pensions guidance to the 400,000 people that reach retirement age each year.
