Alcohol: Youth in Transition Roundtable

Demos are delighted to host roundtable discussion on the topic of alcohol and youth in transition. This project is kindly supported by SAB Miller.

Last year, Demos launched the report Character and Moderation which explored the reasons behind the decline in binge drinking among young adults and considered how to build on the positive trend. Our new project seeks to build on this body of work and explore how we can encourage moderation and tackle the public health and social challenges around excessive alcohol consumption at key stages of life, including student life, young professional life and the lives of those who are not in education, employment or training.
