Tim Leunig, Chief Analyst & Chief Scientific Adviser for the Department for Education joins Demos at a private roundtable to discuss the use of evidence in education policy and practice.
This roundtable will launch A Tale of Two Classrooms, a new Demos essay collection on educational inequality. The collection is a collaboration with Durham University, and includes original research from their academics, as well as contributions from Tristram Hunt MP, Sam Freedman of Teach First, and Helen Barnard of JRF.
The event will bring together policy makers, academic experts and practitioners to discuss how education policies can be put on a firmer evidence base, and how teachers and education leaders can use evidence to inform their work in the classroom.
The roundtable will take place on Thursday 4th December at 16.00 – 17.30.
Please note this event is strictly invitation only. For more information about how to attend, please contact us at [email protected] or on 0207 367 6314.
