The Atlas of Ideas was a three year programme at Demos, which explored changes in the global geography of science and innovation. Between 2005 and 2008, it published studies of China, India, South Korea and Brazil.

- New linkages or same old networking (but faster)? It is estimated that over 90% of Koreans in their 20s have a 'minihompy' -- a mini homepage where you create your online self. As with MySpace or Friendster, you have different tiers of friends and you can link up to others with your interests.But it is much more like an online avatar than a myspace profile.
