Tom joined Demos in September 2008 as an audio visual intern, following a foundation degree in graphic design at the London College of Communication and a degree in American Studies at Nottingham University.

Whilst at Demos, Tom produced a short film for Demos' 'Video Republic' project, looking at the new public realm opened up by people's access to and use of audio-visual communication, and a documentary on the role of conservation for 'It's A Material World'.
