Dr Shuting Xia is a sociologist and research fellow at the Institute for the Future of Work. She completed her PhD in Sociology at the University of Cambridge in 2022. Her work focuses on the future of work, particularly the effects of technology and digitalisation on wellbeing and livelihoods, with a special interest in underserved groups such as displaced persons and refugees. Dr Xia also lectures at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia.
