Quirin holds a BA in European Social and Political Studies (with a focus on political philosophy and French) from University College London. He also spent a year studying études politiques at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris.

Quirin previously interned at the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper in Munich, the Institut für politische Bildung in Freiburg, and the political and protocol department of the German Foreign Office in Budapest.

He is currently researching UK and German industrial policy.
