Nehal worked at Demos as a full-time research intern between October - December 2009, working on a research project called 'On the Edge of Violence?'

Nehal graduated from UCL with a First Class Honours BA in History. After graduating, she spent one year working at PwC in their Government and Public sector advisory practice, focusing on Social Housing and Regeneration policy and delivery.

Previously she interned at the Fairtrade Foundation and the Department for Education and Skills, taught English in India, and more recently was part of a joint PwC-US Peace Corps team in Senegal to develop a malaria prevention programme.

Her political interests are varied, and include counter-terrorism, the Middle East and international law.
