Mark worked as a lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP from 2005 to 2011, specialising in transport, energy and infrastructure finance.

Matters worked on have included the refinancing of the Walney Offshore Windfarm; the financing of the MS Queen Elizabeth launched in Southampton in 2010; and the financing and procurement by Southern Railway of Class 377 Electrostars built by Bombardier.
