Katy joined Demos in June 2009 as a part-time Research Intern on the Capabilities Programme.

Katy graduated from Cambridge with a First in Philosophy, and is now studying for a Masters in the same subject at Birkbeck College. One of her main interests is feminist philosophy, and she is currently writing her thesis on whether there is anything wrong with prostitution.

While at Demos, Katy worked on how social and emotional skills can be effectively promoted in schools.
