Jeff is currently pursuing a doctorate in political philosophy at Oxford University, where his dissertation analyses the moral relationship between people committed to the fundamental principles of democracy and people who reject those principles. He holds degrees from Oxford and Harvard.

His research interests include penal policy, law enforcement, and civic education.
