He is currently finishing his thesis for an MA in Political Communication at the University of Sheffield.  He graduated from Sheffield in 2007 with a BA in Politics before travelling for a year.

He has worked as an intern for Nick Clegg and in the Lib Dem national press office.  He hopes to use his time with Demos to pursue a career working in the arena of political media. His primary research interest is the futility of supporting Watford Football Club.
