Bea is Head of Communications at Demos. She leads Demos' external communications in the media and online, ensuring the successful exchange of our ideas and work.
Bea has detailed knowledge of the UK and international media. She writes and edits for print and digital media. Bea manages content for the Demos website and the Demos Greenhouse blog.
Before Demos, Bea worked for a charity promoting civil society engagement in the United Nations and was News Editor of The Santiago Times in Chile. More recently Bea has worked with the Global Observatory covering the COP15 UN climate summit in Copenhagen.
Bea holds a first class degree in Spanish and Politics from the University of Bristol and ran the first ever Liberia Marathon in August 2011.
