Poonam joined Demos in January 2011 as a research intern on the Family and Society programme.
Poonam holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Warwick and an LLB from the College of Law.
Poonam recently completed her academic training as a barrister and was formerly an intern at the AIRE Centre (Advice on International Rights in Europe).
Poonam’s research interests include National and International Law and British politics.
