Ellen graduated from the University of Exeter with first class honours in International Relations. She has previously been involved in research projects on radicalisation and Islamophobia in the UK, and has also interned in local government at Shropshire County Council.

Ellen's reseach interest include radicalisation, terrorism, extremism and post-conflict reconstruction.
