In this keynote address, marking the first anniversary of his leadership, Nick Clegg shared his vision of a liberal society, and his views on the future of liberalism as both a philosophy and political force.
The speech describes the intellectual underpinnings of the Liberal Democrat project to renew and liberalise contemporary Britain, and indicates the direction of future policy. Richard Reeves, Director of Demos and biographer of John Stuart Mill, introduced and chaired the event.
