Social transformation, increasing surveillance and rapid technological innovation are redrawing the boundaries between the personal and the public. In an attempt to rediscover the social value of privacy, Demos' UK Confidential collection argues that we need to collectively negotiate a new settlement between the individual and society; the public and the state; and the consumer and business.
