Demos, The Friends Provident Foundation and The Barrow Cadbury Trust are proud to present this event for the Conservative Party Conference on the future of financial inclusion during the economic downturn. We are delighted to be joined by:

Justin Tomlinson MP, Member of Parliament for North Swindon

Delroy Corinaldi, External Affairs Director, Consumer Credit Counselling Service

Teresa Perchard, Director of Policy, Citizens Advice

Danielle Walker-Palmour, Foundation Director, Friends Provident Foundation

Paul Lewis, Presenter, BBC Radio 4's Moneybox (Chair)

The economic downturn threatens to undo much of the progress made by the previous government in addressing financial capability and inclusion. However, there are now greater opportunities to engage people and communities directly and in financial health, from using the localism bill to develop community finance and credit sources and support, to exploiting social media and other technological advances.

We hope that you will be able to attend. For more information, please contact partyconference@demos.co.uk
