This event, part of a wider project entitled Listening to Gazelles, will seek out founders and CEOs of small and fast growing businesses to join a roundtable discussion on the issues emerging in relation to the new Communications Act. This Act is proposed to become law in 2013 so the pre-legislative timetable of consultations, Green Papers and White Paper that happens before Bills come before Parliament has already started. The Government has said that they want to focus attention and ideas for legislation on three broad areas: regulation, IP, and how to stimulate growth.

This roundtable will bring small and innovative communications and internet companies together to discuss any issues, ideas and concerns that they have regarding potential changes.

The event will take place on Tuesday 10 January 2012, from 3 - 5pm at Demos, Third Floor, Magdalen House, 136 Tooley St, London SE1 2TU.
