Continuing the fast food theme... McDonalds have announced that they're going to be giving away a free 60 minutes worth of wireless broadband internet access in their restaurants with every meal you buy. It's only working in Manhattan at the moment but expect it to spread fast.
Starbucks and T-Mobile are involved in a similar scheme and BT Openzone are rolling out Wifi hotspots too.
Not sure about that. MacDonalds doesn't strike me as an elistist hang out..

Now all we need to do is increase everyones income or lower the price of laptops, or this'll be just another advance for the elite.
